With this picture I don't know whether to laugh or cry. The presentation is graphic and beautifully composed with just the most basic elements to tell (or rather suggest) a story.. The whole thing is so odd with the muzzled dog (like something out of Mad Max) and the military appearance of his handler, I don't know where to begin to make sense of this image. But its bizarre ambiguity is a big reason that I find it so compelling. Excellent.

You should laugh my friend, they kick and bite by the book in your area, its in our area where they lost and forget anything about the book, infact the book haven't been printed yet.

Much appreciated.

Saad, I assume that it is a parody of things military--and is the muzzle not also a symbol of the censorship that the military imposes on the civilian populace?

Nice play on words in the title as well. . .

Thank you for your comment my friend.

It's not a parody,he is a real security officer, and the dog is a killer one, I shot them in front of the cellar underneath the Louvres pyramid.

I have used a zoom for the shot, then have to upscale the image to get this result.

Regards.

Something I noticed as a dog owner (in Sweden) are that immigrants from MENA countries often are scared when they meet people with dogs. Seeing your image I understand why i.e. military and police use dogs as a tool of fear in order to control. Your image sends a strong message.

Thank you so much Arthur, I agree with you, this policeman is telling the people ,This dog bite . A message that brought fear to those who view the scene .

My best wishes and regards.

Hello Saad, the photograph is superb. The message (at least to me) is chilling: of how the authorities like to control by fear and the threat of violence.

Oof. Well done.

Peter.
