The Town Hall displays this impressive stonemasonary Coat-of-Arms

high on it's front wall. The new Burton upon Trent County Borough

was granted this coat of arms in 1878. The motto is a quotation by

Roman Statesman Cicero meaning "Honour Sustains the Arts". All
