Jack McRitchie 150 Posted February 14, 2016 Fine shot, unpretentious and straightforward. Yes, these types of stores are a dying breed. The Macy's, Emporiums and Sears are disappearing from the downtowns of our cities, victims of boutique stores and on-line sales. It's just a little bit more of my life and times crumbling away. It's not my world anymore, I'm just an observing visitor on a day pass. Link to comment
Tony Brandstetter 814 Posted February 15, 2016 Hey Ed! I echo Jack, I am just here until I get recalled, the waiting room called life....One thing that will change in American retail is that you will not have the establishments that last 100 years or so. In this throw away society, stores will last for just a period of time, yes, eventually Wal*Mart will be replaced, it is starting to happen now. Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted February 15, 2016 You guys are right, normally things tend to trend and recycle but this is a rapidly changing world and society. Ed I think you've captured this very well and it emphasizes your point. Good tones.Best Regards, Holger Link to comment
