Stephanie,

This is really nice. Everything in this image works for me, the expression, the gesture of the fingers, the texture of the blanket, the passing crowd, and above all the composition. I see she is staring directly into the camera from the shelter of her cocoon, allowing a glimpse into her persona. Her inner world is juxtaposed with the outer world and the passing crowd.

We all have a inner self, carefully shielded from our outside social shell, with limited entry.

Stephanie,

It feels just great to see how you bring to us people that somehow are on the edge of something and you make them look so natural. Fantastic portrait.

Regrads,

Though I've never forget, she looks like one of those Iraqis who fleas the war in their cities.

Intense and emotive shot.

thanks for your comments it wasnt cold that day but i think this is more of a security blanket for her? she is living struggling.. she seems strong and a survivor and i admire that and her as well.... when you think of all the foolish things in life like boycotting the Oscars.. arent we a bunch of fools!
