Everything in this image works for me, the expression, the gesture of the fingers, the texture of the blanket, the passing crowd, and above all the composition. I see she is staring directly into the camera from the shelter of her cocoon, allowing a glimpse into her persona. Her inner world is juxtaposed with the outer world and the passing crowd. We all have a inner self, carefully shielded from our outside social shell, with limited entry. Link to comment

stephanie_c1 1 Posted January 29, 2016 thanks for your comments it wasnt cold that day but i think this is more of a security blanket for her? she is living struggling.. she seems strong and a survivor and i admire that and her as well.... when you think of all the foolish things in life like boycotting the Oscars.. arent we a bunch of fools!
