I like the concept, the texture and the range of grays.

Not cropping the bottom of the brush on the left would be more "stable" for me. Also the shadow you add to the whole image is distracting for me.

Just a point of view of course....

Quite original with the overlaying of brushes. The texture of the brushes is very attractive as is that of the cloth underneath. I think a color composition would work as well, if you dip the edge of each brush in a different color and let a few drops fall on the cloth below.
