I think a little lower camera position would go a long way here towards making this a real effective image. The basic pose is good, but I don't like her fingers splayed - it's not elegant (for lack of a better word) and makes her fingers look fat. The expression in her eyes is good, but her smile seems a bit forced. The forced smile is, IMO, exaggerated by the high camera position. The lighting is a bit flat, but that's OK, though I'd like a bit of separation lighting on her hair. I just can't get past that high camera position. If the lens were level with her nose or even a bit lower, I think that would erase a lot of what I just typed. :-) Still, I'd bet she likes it!
