Supriyo 6,008 Posted January 14, 2016 This image is very interesting because there are several features in the image that are unsettling. First is the strange expression on the person's face, how should I call it, comically ashamed? What is the story behind her expression. That too, while submerged in the lake! Finally, the antique look of the photo suggests, it was found somewhere in the attic, long forgotten. Hence the story of her will never be known. Composition wise, I would keep the rest of her reflection near the bottom edge. Link to comment
mhahn 26 Posted January 19, 2016 Thanks Supriyo, I kind of know what you mean, even though I know all about the picture, of course. It's not an antique, but it is about 25 or 30 years old. One of these days I'll have to scan the negative so I can make a much higher quality reproduction. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted April 15, 2016 You have enough odd and off-the-beaten-path images in your portfolio that I think it's a good idea to follow your work. Always on the lookout for the iconoclastic and the individual. This one is a real beauty. Link to comment
