LisaImmarco 0 Posted January 3, 2016 Meditating on a myriad of ways to edit this one. This is one of the directions of which I am thinking. Thinking of alternatives that are more high contrast and also sharper. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
donna pallotta 108 Posted January 3, 2016 yours are images from a dreamworld, lisa.... or from a nightmare ;-} this is what enchants me most, and disturbs me most about your work... Link to comment

MarieH 688 Posted January 4, 2016 Nothing to say, that hasn`t been said. Something is definitely amiss with this lady in the booth Under a light in the dark. Link to comment
ned1 0 Posted January 4, 2016 It needs no editing, other than possibly darkening the background. I am not even sure about that since it might loose it's dream qualities. A wonderful picture. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted January 4, 2016 I agree that it "needs" no editing but, depending on how you feel about it and what you want it to express, it might be only the start of something more in tune with what you want. That's entirely up to you. It could have a noir feel with quite a bit more mystery and even cynicism, it could remain more neutrally dreamy, it could become tragic, mournful, or even more impressionistic or abstract. The lighted window in the background could remain a soft and barely-noitced echo or could become much more pivotal. The streetlight above could remain an afterthought or could become a harsh reminder. A good photo like this will allow many possibilities or will sometimes point you in one direction and make you feel like it can only be one way. There's poetry here, no matter how you slice it.
