Really nice colors, lines, composition, sharpness, and exposure.   

Alain,  Wonderful light, I would guess this is the highlight (no pun) of Iceland.  The iridescent quality in this image is terrific.  I can see right through the ice rocks.  I have heard the Iceland is extremely expensive to visit.  What do you think?   Larry

From your most recent posts, this has to be my favourite!   It has it all! The contrasting dark volcanic sands only serve to enhance the beauty of the glistening ice, whilst there is movement and trailing foam of the water on the left leaving a very pleasing pattern.  The setting sun makes it complete!

Larry: it all depends on what confort you need, which car you rent, etc. For s.o. like me living in Switzerland where life is anything but cheap, Iceland is not that expensive... but clearly more than a trip to France or Italy.

Alf and Jeff: you're both right and wrong. This shot was taken short before noon (in early February).
