Chris, technically an excellent image in terms of composition, exposure, color (sorry, "colour"), etc. However, the most brilliant part of this photo for me is the way it tells me, a person who has never been to this place, a story of contrasts: The streamlined, modern world of the Millennium Dome, versus the workaday world of barges on the Thames. This brings the place alive for me, and is what I believe sets this image apart. Kudos!

Looks like a very busy place, construction, cranes, satellite dishes, barges and as a contrast sailboats for people who have more leisure time. Great shot!
