Not Here 93 Posted December 16, 2015 An excellent rendition of Mingus Mill. You had to climb a little to get this POV, but it's worth it... Mike Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted December 16, 2015 Thanks! I worked hard for this shot. I so badly wanted the water running, but the mill was closed due to construction.....which meant I had a bunch of construction equipment to clone out. What a disappointment. But I was bound and determined to get a picture of Mingus, which I had never done. All things considered I was pleased with how it turned out. Link to comment

alfbailey 4 Posted December 16, 2015 I really like the way you have used the "Mill Run" as a leading line and the way the pale weathered timbers of the mill itself stand out against the trees. I know just how disappointing it can be when you have looked forward to getting "that shot" only to discover the place has turned into a building site. I once travelled 4 hours to find that Whitby Pier was covered in construction scaffolding! My exclamations are unprintable! But you have made the most of the situation and produced a fine photograph! Very well done! Alf Link to comment
Christal1664882414 0 Posted December 20, 2015 Patsy.....yes, lucky for you you're so close. I don't get there often enough. Thanks! Alf.....I can 'hear' the expletives! Yes, sometimes as photographers we have to go to 'Plan B'. Story of my life.... :-) Thanks, Alf! Link to comment
