Thanks for viewing/comments! When to the beach and left my Canon 7D II + 500mm

lens at home. Took this with the fullframe Sony A7R + Commlite adapter + Canon 70-

200mm .. handeld/manual focus shot! - Much harder to shoot bird with a 200mm lens

and manual focus (not too many keepers).

So, do you glue seed to your forehead?  Getting this close with a 200mm is tough.  Fantastic shot... Mike

Thanks Mr Mancil! No, no seeds ... just have to stand very still and try to focus real quick. The Sony has a focus peaking function where the focus item turn red when in focus but it's still very hard to see through the view finder. May be it's easier with the LCD screen but out in the sun it's hard to see the LCD screen too. I rarely use my 70-200mm and it's a decent lens when shoot at F2.8 as in this case which helps blur all the surrounding.
