This is a greatshot, I love how the rocks frame and lead the eye down into the valley. You got the sun just right, exposure is also spot on. Did you do any HDR on this? If so it is just right - not fake looking. I spent 7 years in Grafenwoehr and climbed a lot in this area. I don't have a picture as good from those days. I'd toast you with a dark heffe-hefeweizen if I had one!

I'm usually  not  to found  for sunset, sunrise images,  but  I like this  somehow. The rocks in the foreground,  the  backlit  vegetation and  the  curved  siluet/horizonu  with the two trees,  looks good  to me. You managed  to avoid  or  expertly  removed  the lens  flare. The  thin clouds  of  the sky  good too.  The overall  redness  of  the image? It is an individual test. Myself, I would definitely would  tried  a b&w  version of it.
