Wonderful, Holger, a cryptic picture that seems to signify something just beyond the limits of our understanding. Your processing here is absolutely spot on..

Walking the beach came across a cement slab that had this hook. As

time passed the wind blows sand into the hook, the rock is just there.

Thanks for looking and any comments.

Not all of us 'take in' all that surrounds us while on a walk. Whether it be our mood at the time, or perhaps we are lost in thought, or, maybe we are not really interested in the unique 'gems' that can always be found. Being in the present and aware of your surroundings is when you find these treasures, such as this one. I enjoyed the thoughts you shared as well Holger. Love the textures here!

Holger,  The story of this image is an enigma for us and Time nibbles even the most precious things we have. Interesting interrogative photograph with rust.  Nice one!

Len thank you for the great comment and link. I enjoyed your image and now I have an understanding as to why I shot this, it's good to know I'm not the only one who views things this way. Much appreciated. See you soon.
