Jim_Dockery_Photos 2 Posted October 18, 2015 I set a good pace (for an old goat) up the trail to the top of Mt. Pugh hoping for a good sunset. It was. Had the summit to myself for the night - good weather so no tent. Sunrise was just as good - well worth carrying the tripod and lenses. Link to comment

Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted October 21, 2015 Jim, Wonderful image. The layering of the mountains gives nice depth and the lighting and color is superb. Also, the snowfield in the foreground adds nicely the composition and leads the viewer to the volcano in the distance. Where is this, Oregon, Washington? One thing, is there a white line on the foreground mountain that could be from over sharpening or chromatic aberration? This could just be the way the image uploaded too? Great image.
