This image was taken atop the Marina Sands Hotel in Singapore. (See

photo of this unusual hotel is this folder). These 4 provincial Chinese (I

think) ladies were up on the dramatic top of the hotel where there is a bar,

restaurant and cantilevered swimming pool. They had this clever little scroll

that rolls up automatically after you use it. They had just taking a selfie of

themselves and before I could get their attention, the signed folded up and

they were busy texting the selfie. I finally got their attention and pointed to

the sign (then in their bag) managing to communicate in my best Chinese

that I wanted to take a similar photo. I tried to buy the sign from them but

they wouldn't part with it. So there you have the rest story.

Oops, further research makes it appear that this sign is part of huge travel scam. Hope these ladies didn't get soaked for too much.
