So when I found this location on the Green River yesterday I was drawn

to the ever changing flow of the water which was only made visible by

the floating pine needles. I set up for this shot and spent about 45

minutes trying to capture the most interesting "shapes" that appeared.

The clouds turned out to be more intermittent that the weather people

said so I ended up using my polarizer and 5-stop neutral density

filter to extend the exposure time enough to uncover the patterns.

The other part of this composition I like is you can make out a larger

swirl pattern on the far side of the river as well. I hope you like

it and I look forward to hearing your comments and/or suggestions.

Thanks for taking the time to view and comment.

Out of a possible score of 7, this is a 10.  Absolutely superb.  I love the swirling current that you've captured so well... Mike
