lauramarco 0 Posted August 23, 2015 Dear Giangiorgio,Death is also part of life, there isn't one without other.I'll tell you a curiosity, the place where I live has little municipality (land to be urbanized). Thus, initially a small morgue was installed in the most bordering areas of my town. Eventually, the town grew and grew. I searched an area full of vegetation and trees to settle ... to live close to nature; the only posible place was just as close to the perimeter. So, not far my block, there's a morgue (!).It's small, no crematoria, only "to keep vigil over" till returning again to Earth. Very occasionally, I've seen people mourn in the middle of the street ... full of pain without any consolation. My son has seen them too; I explain to him that death exists every day and for all.I do not mind the place, on the contrary ... it makes me keep my feet on the ground every day and enjoy the present. Thank you for the comment. Life is also full of sadness. Kindest regards, Laura. Link to comment
wink_photo 0 Posted September 2, 2015 Laura. Evocative as usual. It is obviously a sad place with a sad figure. But the photograph is lovely and I really think that the black and white works well. All the best. Dana... Link to comment
lauramarco 0 Posted September 3, 2015 Dear Dana, I'm glad you like this image.I feel that the woman gets into the scene as a knife, as painful and sharp.Being in some way like a wedge that enters at the right side, as when a knife is stuck. For me she's a "tear" in this image.Thank you very much for your comment and for all. Kindest regards, Laura Link to comment
