I had visited this place about a week ago, took some images and I was not satisfied with them. So I returned this tome and I had underestimated the time to get there so I had less than 10 minutes before the sun would dip below the horizon. I used my D810 and nikkor 70-300mm. I opened up wide, underexposed and raised the on-camera flash,  dialed down the flash power and hoped for the best.

This image is a crop of the original which can be seen here. Donna suggested a crop and it grew on me so I decided to post that version here.  I still go back between the two versions but I am leaning ever so slightly towards this one.

Another hot day here in Montreal but I am not complaining.
