This is a picture of Florence from a common vantage point, Piazza Michelangelo. I

was hoping to get a critique of my image to help improve the color and exposure in

Photoshop. Specifically, is the foreground too dark? I would be grateful for your help.

I do not find the FG too dark at all, in fact, I might be tempted to darken it just a tad more.  The reason I think it works as is (or even a little darker) is it allows the view to "wander" through the image but not get bogged down in the details.  It also adds to the "quietness" that this image has.  One more thing, again just my opinion, I might darken the upper portion of the sky...not a lot, but it may help with the transition from the bright around the sun.  Just some thoughts and congrats on a very special image!!

Craig,

Thank you for the response.  I will open it back up in Photoshop and try your suggestions.  I appreciate the time you took to help!

Thank you,

Chris
