With the last bright light of the sun illuminating these unusual rock formations - combined with that dynamic sky (also the very calm, lovely colour of the Lake) this truly is a very beautiful composition Lester. I am glad to hear you have had such a wonderful learning experience at this place. You have some pretty impressive images in this folder that you should be very proud of!

Always happy to see your images, Gail

Very Good and beautiful light.

What follows is a personal opinion:

I would straighten the horizon

For a 2nd shot and if it was possible without it being hazardous, I might have moved in closer and made the brightly lit rocks a bigger percent of the image.

For a third shot, move in even closer.

Just one opinion.

Good points, Tony. I overlooked the horizon. If you browse the other photos in the folder there's one of the same scene taken closer. Thanks for dropping by. - LESTER

The timing must have been perfect  to get the last vestiges of light as it hit the columns, What makes it more dramatic is the wonderful sky as a backdrop.

I can fully appreciate Tony's crop too.

Beautifully done!

Best Regards
