A very opportunistic shot taken without a "real" macro lens, but improvised by holding an old 50mm f1.8 backward over the 50mm f1.8 AF lens on the camera, and getting within 20mm of the subject to capture details of just-hatched caterpillars and the eggs.

A combo of nature and macro, showing little 1.5mm long caterpillar

hatchlings and others still hatching from their eggs. Shot without a

"real" macro lens by just inverting an old manual focus 50mm lens over

the front of an AF 50mm and getting in close and trying to be planar.
