Drew, Tony,

Many thanks for your comments. I have also uploaded a straightened (more aesthetically correct) version of the same image, but with patched corners in Photoshop. For the same reason, I don't take credit for the new picture. It is just a vision of how things could be, had they been done perfectly.

Taking chances like you did here will result in a gamut of reactions. Personally I like it - it leans towards the main subjects.

Just found this version, which I like quite a bit more because it's unstraightened. Not because I'm against manipulation by any means, but because I think it has more energy and spontaneity this way. You mention perfection in your comment on the straightened version. The best street shooting and photography does not seek to be perfect, but rather to be dynamic and in the moment.

Dear Fred and Tony, thank you both for pointing to the fact that the skewed version brings more energy and dynamics to the scene. I have often thought about why I composed this image as I did. Now when I think about it, I too like it this way.

Fred, many thanks for your insightful comment on this work.
