An excellent composition with a wonderful feeling of space and openness in opposition to the close quarters of the men on the boat. The picture really conveys the feeling of their fragility and virtual insignificance within the great context of sea and sky. The tones and lighting are particularly good.

The feel here is one of being lost--swallowed up by nature.  It's a compelling scene, enhanced by all the space.
