Thoughts

One of the images from testing Octabox and black V-flat. Maja was in that kind of

mood that allowed us making these kind of photos and I think they are quite

expressive. I really like these series :).

I find your work fascinating and this one is no exception. I particularly like the introspection and that sense of gentleness, often implying a real strenght, that shines through in your images. That said, I think your model's face shows some sign of oversharpening (lips, skin and eyebrows). But I have to say I am neither a pro nor an expert in make-up/studio photography so please take this critique for what is worth, I may well be wrong.

I like:

- model

- light

-head position

- left hand position

- treatment.

I dislike

-right hand position

- knee with black fragments of clothing; then, knee is too bright and compete with face.

Thank you so much for the nice words. I totally agree with both of your comments what is wrong with the photo. I took it about 3 months ago and now I do see the troubles, photo is a tinny bit over-sharpened and the knee is too bright so it's taking attention from the face. Saying that I also really do like this photo with all the mistakes, the expression and the feeling conquer all for me :D.
