Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted June 1, 2015 Larger view preferred. Chesterman Beach at Wickaninnish offers countless opportunities for the photographer to see. As I placed my vision on the sand, I had to choose among so many images for the camera to see. Please comment on how you believe I saw this one. Thanks. Larry Link to comment

Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted June 3, 2015 Gianni and Patsy, Thanks for you visits and kind reviews. This started out as a rather flat looking image. I combined 4 or 5 exposures into an HDR and kept it natural. Then, when removing the blue cast, the image awoke. Thanks again. Larry Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted June 4, 2015 What a neat picture, Larry. We don't have coasts that look like this in the Southeast. --Lannie Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted June 4, 2015 Lanny, Thanks for your visit. You're geographical observation is certainly correct. Yet, the southeast has many interesting, historical, and beautiful natural places. Thanks, again for viewing my images. Larry Link to comment
stephanie_c1 1 Posted June 4, 2015 hi Larry this is very skilled and unusual photography in a good way i love your perspective and the rocks look like craters it keeps me looking Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted June 5, 2015 Stephanie, Many thanks for your visit and compliment. It is nice to connect with you. About the craters, you may not be that far off. The whole area sits on the Pacific Rim of Fire where there has been much volcanic activity, none nearby of which i am aware. I am not sure, but the rocks may be basalt. This beach changes significantly between high and low tides. Here we see low tide. In high tide these rocks may be covered with water, hence the marine organisms on top of the rocks. Thanks again, Stephanie. Larry Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted June 5, 2015 IMHO - perfect choice of composition with just enough color to make it interesting. Well done. Link to comment
