Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted May 30, 2015 Larger view preferred. How about this grocery as yesterday's neighborhood go to place to stock up on milk and staples just down the street? This Vancouver establishment made me want to meet the Carderos. Your comments, please. Thanks. Larry Link to comment
Tony Brandstetter 814 Posted May 30, 2015 Defiantly an image of days gone by. It a world of giant box stores where the selection of product is over whelming, this is a breath of fresh air.Good lead in by the way. Link to comment

Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted May 30, 2015 Tony,Thanks for your visit. We try our hardest to avoid the big boxes whenever we can. It's worth spending a little more to support the little guy and bolster local communities. We have the same sentiments here. Larry Link to comment

Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted May 30, 2015 Holger, Thanks for your comment. Feedback from others about our images is really important. Knowing you see this one as artistic reinforces how I saw it. Ansel Adams' remark that there are at least two people in every image - the photographer and the viewer. Thanks again. Larry Link to comment

DGorinstein 20 Posted November 2, 2015 Your landscape work is impressive and vast, making it hard to choose where to insert a word of praise, so please, kindly apply such commendation to most, if not all of them. Having said that, I found this amongst your portfolios, only to find such a refreshing look, great perspective and DOF. This photograph immediately caught my eye for the flavor it has of the 40s and 50s. The colors and the ray of light coming into the foreground is just an added detail of high quality. IMHO, and if I may, the only thing that introduces noise to this leap into the past, is the right margin. I know cropping is much a matter of personal taste, or even a thing of ethics in photography (leaving things as they are), so take this comment not only with the respect it is written with, but also with a grain of salt. Best regards.DG Link to comment
