What do you think of the composition?

I like the slow shutter. Overall it seems too blue and the comp would be better if you framed the falls by including some land or trees. Or is not a falls but a stream with an angled pov?

I like it. The water has a surreal appearance accented by the rocks. Really nice.

I like the leaves against the dark rocks. The slow shutter gives it a surreal feel.

I agree and disagree, I think its a great composition, and nice long exposure to create the lacy stream, but it needed to be just a little bit longer exposure. The frame is definitely slightly underexposed, but that could be the scanner too. But all in all a great frame.

Scott: This was actually a stream and it was taken from a bridge looking down with the camera resting on the wooden bridge. The digital version is little bluer than the orginal slide.

 

Adam: I forgot what the exposure was, but definitely it was not a very long one as I was shooting handheld with the bridge wall as a support. In general is there a rule of thumb for creating a lacy stream?
