Many thanks for your insightful comments which I appreciate. I am not wrong and neither are you re the dark shadowed area on the right but here is the way I was thinking:

Dark colors attract the eye less and there was not much 'eye-candy on the bottom right side shadow area. I then reasoned that that the dark area on the right is approximately the same size as the dark water on the left so I was thinking that it gives the image some more symmetry.

I had posted this on facebook and not on photo.net and the response there was electrifying and gratifying. That is when I decided to post this one here to perhaps a more critical audience. I was surprised to see that some people rated it anonymously as 'average'  but most people rated it highly.

All the best and I am glad that you also like this image.

David and AJ - I very much appreciate your generosity.  I guess if you a visit the same place for lots of years, one day you are going to get lucky. All the very best,

Joscelyn - come on over from Ontario but there are no guarantees with what I will get at the park.

Pierre D - thanks for the "bravo".

Michail Thanks. Good to get your input on the fence. I have learned that when you encounter a scene like this, don't just take one image so I actually moved closer to eliminate the fence but that introduced some distortions with the Sigma 10-20mm and with the ends of the rainbow so close to the edge of the image, it looked like I would have to do lots of post processing to have a presentable image.  Still possible but since I had this one, I decided to roll with it.

Michael L - you are right that everything here is pretty much as I saw it.

Larry, Mike and Gianni - glad you found it to be spectacular.

Christal - the response was so voluminous and positive on facebook that I decided to post it here. I apologize for the double exposure.

Alf - your slant on the fence was appreciated.

Wow Tony: There is little anyone could add to so many comments of praise, all very well deserved, and IMHO saying more would be to spoil this image's magnificence.
