Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted May 12, 2015 Large view available. An hour on this beach offers several changes of weather and mood. This image spoke to me in black and white as the water, textures, and sky needed the benefit of a range of gray zones rather than color. Your views are appreciated. Please comment. Thanks. thadley 15 Posted May 18, 2015 Love the scene and the composition. Even though I suspect that I would like it even more in color, the black and white is very good. Larry there is a technical problem and I am baffled as to what it could be? Is it because of over-sharpening or something else. There seems to be some 'artifacts' in the distant land particularly noticeable in the larger view. I have included a crop to show you what I mean. Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted May 19, 2015 Hi Tony, Thanks for your visits. Yes, you are correct. There seems to be some annoying shadowing of the trees at the horizon line. I almost did not post the image because of this. I will look back to the original image to see if it shows up there. If not, I'll reprocess the image. Thanks. Larry Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted May 20, 2015 Tony, Thanks for your close look on this image. I decided that the problem related to misalignment in making an HDR. I reprocessed the image using only one exposure and reposted it as Chesterman Beach Redone. I marked your comment as helpful. Larry Link to comment
