The image was taken at Cold Spring Village, she had no

passengers, just her thoughts. Your thoughts and comments are

very much appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Holger,

Appears to be a bit out-of-focus but then I guess that is what gives it a painterly effect. Nice comp and colors.

this soft dreamy type glow works very well here....as if I am within the image...far away in my own daydreams - yet still present....very effective and pleasing to the eye Holger!

Bill, Mike and Gail, Thanks for commenting and looking at this image. I used the Orton effect in PS elements to achieve the soft blur, I had hoped it would add that dream like effect. Thanks again for the support.

Best, Holger

My impression is that you have used the same filter as on my picture you recently commented, with the kids, Holger! But, this one is much more serious and representative! Bravo!

Thank you all for the kind words and support. Mr. Kraft after looking again I see your point and must agree with your assessment, I think more would be better. Thanks again.

Lovely - judging by the basket at her feet, she is off in style to a picnic - perhaps to meet someone at a designated spot.  I like the orton effect here.

Great insight in your comment Tony, thanks much. The orton effect is an interesting tool and one I might use again. Thanks for coming back Jamie. See you soon.

I think the viewer can conjure up several stories to accompany this image.  I like the Orton effect and the slightly saturated colors....both work well for me.  I like the woman's posture with her face obscured, which makes your title work particularly well.
