Mike - Thanks. I was looking for something to occupy that space. I spread a big garbage bag on the ground so I was able to lie down really low on the damp grass to get this one.

Aren't trash bags wonderful? When I first saw this in the Nature forum I was smitten by the soft colors. I love the simplicity of the scene. Thanks for sharing it.

Laura - that is very kind of you and it is appreciated. Glad to share. 

Visiting 3 local areas on very frequent basis forces you to try and find something 'new' and it was really tough going until this point.  If truth be told I wanted to have that curvy stalk more in focus but maybe it is a blessing in disguise that it was like it is in this image.
