charming window-lit scene with so many props on stage... love the placid dog waiting for the human antics to end

Larger, the room opens up revealing great details lurking in the previously compressed shadows.  I wonder what the dog thinks.  Or what he knows. 

It is the real performance, not a rehearsal; everyone contributing to the wholeness of the scene. Must be a hot summer day... And that lovely little tail... unaware that it holds everything in perfect balance.

Good scene. The mirror in the center is what attracts my attention the most. It's like the doorway to a brighter, cleaner world. The picture really must be viewed large as Jeff has noted.

I love the dog :)  Intriguing image.

The tonality in this photo is just absurdly great, just really exquisite light. All the different poses and the resting dog make up a great scene in itself, but for me the standout is the light, the overall rendering in B&W which gives this photo a timeless elegance that goes perfectly with dance.
