mountaineer1965 0 Posted March 9, 2015 I felt more like mosquito bait than a photographer on this morning as much of this meadow has water running under it. It's really cool, you walk along and suddenly you see a little strip of water about 6" wide and running about 4-5 feet, like an earth crevasse. I got down on one to see how deep it was and I had to extend my trekking pole to it's full length and put my arm in almost elbow deep before I hit bottom. Makes me wonder how long before this meadow becomes a lake. Anyway, this is one of my favorite shots from that morning and I would love to hear what you think. All comments are greatly appreciated. Not Here 93 Posted March 9, 2015 Sublime scene, beautiful lighting, well composed and above all, a scroll stopping image... Mike Link to comment
Daniel Álamo 0 Posted March 9, 2015 Maybe there is too much of sky here; but that trees ask to be in the overall composition. I miss maybe a little bit more of FG. I don't like the vignetting which I don't know if it's controlled or just for the filter density (you don't say if you used it), it shadows excessively the upper side IMHO.Classic composition on the area which you find the your. Good light over the Hood. I'm not sure if it still work better more contrasted on the wood. Velvia 50 colors always work for me. 5.5/7. Link to comment

alfbailey 4 Posted March 9, 2015 I really like the foreground, and the overall composition. But it is the foreground that really puts the viewer right there allowing that almost tangible feel to the image. The light I believe reflects the time of morning and again conveys that sublime mood! Beautifully done! Alf Link to comment
