ldavidson 4 Posted February 16, 2015 I love the effect of fog on a very cold day. The "Hoar" Frost is so beautiful. Link to comment

JeffBryce 0 Posted February 18, 2015 The imbalance of this somehow creates a nice balance in my mind. Perhaps it's the subtle road leading off to the lower left. And with the overexposed foreground & highlights it is tough to tell if this is infrared foliage or b&w snow. I really like this because it keeps me guessing. Regards, Jeff Link to comment
ldavidson 4 Posted February 19, 2015 Thanks for stopping and commenting. This is known as hoarfrost here in BC, Canada. "a deposit of needle-like ice crystals formed on the ground by direct condensation at temperatures below freezing point. Also called: white frost " the Free Dictionary. All the white here is sparkling little ice crystals and it is amazingly beautiful. I didn't do it justice, but I am happy to hear that you like it.Best wishes,Linda Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted March 30, 2015 I think your final image is just beautiful Linda. Such magical scenes can be found in the Winter. I have not often seen Hoar Frost, but am enjoying this 'beauty' very much! Link to comment
jorge_fernandez3 1 Posted June 8, 2015 I have seen snow a few times in this life time, 66, however the feeling that I get of joy and inner peace every time I see snow tells me I had previous life surrounded by it. It is a true beautiful composition. Warm regards. Link to comment
trisha jean-angela 5 Posted June 18, 2015 I like your angle here and how the road disappears from view. Soft magical feeling and light. Nicely done. Thank you for sharing. :) Link to comment
