The imbalance of this somehow creates a nice balance in my mind.  Perhaps it's the subtle road leading off to the lower left.  And with the overexposed foreground & highlights it is tough to tell if this is infrared foliage or b&w snow.  I really like this because it keeps me guessing.  Regards, Jeff

This is known as hoarfrost here in BC, Canada. "a deposit of needle-like ice crystals formed on the ground by direct condensation at temperatures below freezing point. Also called: white frost " the Free Dictionary. All the white here is sparkling little ice crystals and it is amazingly beautiful. I didn't do it justice, but I am happy to hear that you like it.

Best wishes,

Linda

I think your final image is just beautiful Linda. Such magical scenes can be found in the Winter.  I have not often seen Hoar Frost, but am enjoying this 'beauty' very much!

I have seen snow a few times in this life time, 66, however the feeling that I get of joy and inner peace every time I see snow tells me I had previous life surrounded by it. It is a true beautiful composition. Warm regards.
