A new career move with a never ending stream of clients : - )

I am fascinated by witches, goblins and haunted houses, so much so I wanted to create my own story.

Sincere Thanks for your thoughts and kind words!

Best Regards

I'm not sure if you mean't it to be funny, but the word "execution" relating to this image made me laugh out loud!

So pleased you enjoyed the image and the story!

Many Thanks

Old photographers never die, they are the masters of immortality!

There were quite a few more comments from passers by, but I didn't recount the full version of the story as I thought I had rambled on enough. I think my favourite comment was from a guy walking his dog who looked at me and muttered " I am not even going to ask!"  I should dress like this more often, never had so much fun!

Thank you for stopping by Len, so pleased it brought a smile!

Best Regards

Hi Alf, Actually there is no category for your image : -)

It's a very original idea and best of all is that in the end you made it.

All ideas have long work behind, either using layers or everything in one shot. In my case, I've not got a job, so I prefer to go during weekly working hours or those hours when everyone is in their office. Places are deserted, children at school.

If I want to make a shot in a natural pool, I make it when it's cold, so I know that nobody is going to bathe, are little tricks that I always use.

The meeting with women's hilarious.

The vanishing of the fog leads to an almost dreamed place, a place that is only in our own nightmares. The Grim Reaper points to something; Also it would have been interesting if he was looking directly at the objective, as saying: "the next will you" ... or moving away overlooking at the water, a sign of a sigh of relief for life.

What I like about the photo is the landscape. I have no such forests, they're wonderful, It reminds me scenes of many romantic men and women who are desperate regarding to life, in complete sadness, finding no sense. The atmosphere contains an untold story.

Congratulations, at the end you've made the shot!

Kindest regards, ㋙

Sincere Thanks for your thoughts and positive feedback, much appreciated!

I also prefer the quiet times and usually I will visit my landscapes at the crack of dawn. I prefer winter also for these same reasons. The solitude, peace and a beauty that comes from subdued light and atmospheric sky's.

I am very fortunate that we have forests, mountains and the most diverse of landscapes for me wander and photograph.

My next vision is inspired by a Rock Album cover sleeve, that was the first album by Black Sabbath released in 1970 , it features a mysterious woman in black amongst a forest setting.  The image has stayed in my mind for an amazing years! Only now have I decided to reproduce my own version of it.  Incidentally I think you would make a great model for it too! You have a wonderful presence in front of the camera!  Just a shame we are too distant : - )

Warm Regards

Hi Alf, I looked at the cover of the album because I was curious about and I found it's a beautiful work, there is a woman dressed in black in a forest in the background there is a house, too. Apparently an art-image of Marcus Keef.

As for me, I like Heavy, I have not much heard of Black Sabbath, I'll listen to some songs. Thanks for your compliments, they're appreciated. I play a bit myself electric guitar, in fact I designed an album, front and back covers- what I called "Heavy Fantasy" - I wrote title to the songs and everything ah ah haha :--) (I´m showing you here the images but mine was very different from Black Sabbath).

It is still empty and now I spent many hours playing classic authors in classical guitar because I want to prepare to pass music school conservatory exams :) So instead of Heavy, I am with Carcassi, Mauro Giuliani, Carulli, Fernando Sor now etc. very different but we have to know classics.

I look forward to seeing your cover, your vision. We all do!,

Kindest regards, ㋙

Wow! Great  "Rock Chick"  theme,  I would love to see the finished result when you put all this together, and be able to listen to the music too!  You are clearly a woman of many talents and artistic expression

Of course you are far too young to remember Black Sabbath.  But you may know The Beatles and the club were they originally played "The Cavern".......well I played lead guitar for a couple of years in a rock band, and perhaps my greatest claim to fame was playing in that place "The Cavern" .....not a nice stylish place as you might imagine....it was a dirty sleazy old night club... but what it lacked n decor, it more than made up for in atmosphere!

I wish you well with your musical pursuits as well as your great imagery.

Warm Regards

I am usually verbose but this one gets a 'smile'. Maybe it is the finger pointing!

Edit: now that I have read the background story to this image, it has given me more than a smile.

Very Good work.

I take photography seriously, but could never take myself too seriously : - )

I try to inject a bit of fun into a macabre subject...life is after all.......too short!

Sincere Thanks Tony!

I have so many idea's and not enough willing volunteers to help carry them out : - )

But I won't give up.

Hi Alf- Well your creative juices have been flowing & we have another well crafted B&W image to sit back & enjoy. It took time for all the required components to come together, but well worth the time I enjoyed just sitting & studying the image, feeling myself being drawn into the image.Being abstract you can let your mind wander Have been thinking of doing more B&W work. Can you recommend any imaging programs Best Regards-Ross

Sincere Thanks for your thoughts and positive feedback. It is most gratifying to read that you enjoyed viewing this image.

I use a program called "Nik Silver Efex Pro 2"  It not only brings out superb detail, but it can also mimic a variety of old film styles, add tones, or even frames and vignettes.

Have a great weekend Ross

Best Regards
