The kid is adorable BUT the photo is not. I have made the same mistake before and i can tell you for sure: in a few years you will be wondering why you have asked critique for a photo like this. It's ok to save and cherish EVERY SINGLE MOMENT of your kids but photo critique should be an other thing i guess.
