atle.g 0 Posted September 29, 2003 Very nice B/W landscape. Lovely tone and a dynamic comp. was thinking of suggestion a slight top crop, but after cropping it in PS i feel it works as well or better with this 50/50 split. Well done!! Link to comment
alethea_hollis 0 Posted September 29, 2003 This is just wonderful, so tranquil, congratulations. My only suggestions would be that top piece cropped, its a little heavy, and the horizon slopes just a tiny bit up to the left I think. Great work, enjoyed seeing this very much. Alethea Link to comment

robertbrown 1 Posted September 30, 2003 Lovely b&w, so tranquil, infinite. I shoot a lot of 6x6 and I hate it when people suggest cropping, but I'd really consider cropping the top black area. While it mirrors the bottom (a good thing), it's mostly just wasted space. Link to comment

ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted October 1, 2003 Old wood piers have been done so many times, but not like this. This is so different, moody and tranquil. A beautiful composition Link to comment

thomas_collins1 0 Posted November 17, 2003 Your whole collection is simply wonderful! This is probably my favorite for the reason of simplicity and peacefulness that it displays. The "Z" composition is evident in the pilings, the horizon, and the clouds. Excellent exposure and creamy tones. Well done!! Link to comment
