Leslie Reid 5,227 Posted September 17, 2016 Of the four images you posted, I think this is tied for my favorite. The overall form of the light area is graceful, and the colors are beautifully intense and combine well. The colors unite the top and bottom of the image very satisfyingly, and they really draw me into the center, where the most intense warm hues are. I also like the textures here a lot—it feels very, very wet. I feel like I'm looking at water through water. I wish the upper left green light were a little farther from the edge of the frame, but even that is only a minor point--I'm very glad that it's there because it single-handedly carries the upper left mass of darkness. I go back and forth on the light shape at the center extreme right--I assume you've probably tried it with and without it, and I'll trust your judgement, but I would be interested in seeing how it looks cropped just to the left of that shape (if it does go, the green light at upper left might no longer be important enough to keep since there'd be less of an issue with balance). Overall, it's a very exuberant and satisfying image--it makes me feel good to look at it. Link to comment
