The image looks surreal, very beautiful Andy! TFS!

I was wonndering what f-stop would get the birds all sharp and see that you had shot this with a wide angle lens.  :-)

Thank you for your very kind words.

Also i see you visited my "backyard" The Bruce Peninsula here in Ontario.

We spend most of our summers up there.

And yes the Canadian pets are very tough..... just like my friend Laurent stated it on your Kajak image.

Thank you again for you interest in my work.

My best wishes.

LOL, Andy, as a guy who shoot mostly bird I would say shooting the rear end of birds does not work but not this image. It's more like a painting, it's an environmental type of shot which shows the winter scene and you did so well with using a wide-angle lens because that give you the great depth-of-field which make the image looks great. I love it! TFS!

You made this old guy soooooooooooooo happy i can't even trying to put in words.

Seeing your stunningly beautiful and absuletely perfect images /dragonfly in flight....../ and thinking of all the hard work and expenses / took the liberty to see how much just one of the lens you use/ and time invested in them made me feel even more humbled.

I checked my camera when i got back in the warmth of my car, hoping everything was ok.. it was -19c with windchill about -27C, 7.00 - 9.00 at the morning the sun is still among the trees. Yes they were there and just like a kid rushed home just to see if i have least one of them good.

As you can see i use a camera which did cost me less than 400 bucks so if you would agree with me i would chalk this one up for one of my luckiest shot so far.

Of course i was there the days before and after but the lighting never allowed me to even attempt a flying shot.

Again, thank you for your interest and very reassuring kind words.

My best regards.

Andy

My best regards.
