I think this is your best image here. Beautiful colours and composition. It could do with being sharper, but that may be down to the scan and/or photo.net's compression

Very nice. I would definitely cut out some of the dark area at the bottom, from about half way between the wave and the dark beach (on the left side). Then I think you would have an excellent shot.

I appreciate both perspectives given on the shot. The intent was to show color, mood and place. Perhaps a nip and a tuck here and there are in order prior to final print. Thanks again for your thoughts and observations.

I agree with Phil totally. The non-detail dark area is the weaness. Cropping or some good flashlight to give out some fg detail could be the solution.
