For me a changing room is place where you change clothes and if that is the case it brings some potential eroticism to the scene. Maybe it is a room where change in the person takes place.

I am thinking about an ancient novel "through the looking Glass".  Here, not Alice but Laura escapes ...  by entering a fantastical place, this time by climbing through a mirror into the world so that she can see beyond it - far beyond her current shores.  As she sits in the transition or Change Room all curled up, she ponders with trepidation and excitement about the dangers and the rewards.

Now! Do you see what your images 'make me' write (*_*)?

All the very best and keep up this fantastic work.

Grazie mille Gianni. Cordiali saluti, Laura.

Dear Tony, I'm smiling for a long time after reading your comment. Thank you very much, it's a pleasure to read "your so interesting sensations", by far it's the best gift I may receive for my images: what they inspire in others. Learn from what it suggests to others. I really like what you write. And also it impresses me to realize how close it is your interpretation of the true meaning of this work, indeed, it gives me the willies when I see that you can read in many of my works like in an open book. It's when you say, "Maybe it is a room where change in the person takes place" ... that's the real spark that propelled this project. The woman is not complete, it's seen apart, she could be a whole reflection in a single mirror, but it is not. Even one mirror is flipped. Everything is choppy, but she smiles happily even coyly yes ... there's even eroticism, sensuality.

Needle and thread in a changing room serve to fix clothes, but here they serve to join pieces that life has broken, not only life but people, situations ... is to make the bad thing... a better one. It remains in our hands to be sensible and knowing how to self-heal, auto-make do. Putting together the pieces and do something new even stronger. I'm very happy, I see that the background flows ... the message surfaces. She is happy, but she sews her own pieces. There're changes in her.

I don't know the novel, but I will try to search and read it. The character tries to see beyond ... she rests on a flight of stairs, not known whether going up or down.

Tony, thanks for your visit, comment so interesting :)

All the very best to you for this new year 2015. Much success and happiness!. Kindest regards, Laura

Dear Jim, thank you for your pleasant visit. For me it's very important that any work, image... carries a strong creative side, to improve this aspect always and by doing so, be able to convey many possible meanings. Happy New Year 2015!, kindest regards, Laura.

Dear Giangiorgio, thanks for your precious visit and your positive comment. I'm really glad you've liked this work. Whenever I start to create something, I think ... what do I want to tell? ... With that simple idea, I begin to take images that I need to give it a shape. At the end, I need to see my message reflected in the image. So ... I'm glad you find nice this "artistic touch".

Wishing you much success for this new year, health and prosperity and a Happy New Year 2015! Kindest regards, Laura.

Interesting. Also maybe interesting for me that I am not sure why I find it interesting. Why are the legs extending into another fram or mirror? What does it all mean? You have me occupied now...

Thank you for your interest in this image, it's very good for me that you may find it interesting  :)  the greatest gift for the work we're doing: "arise interest in others".

Why are the legs in another frame/mirrow? the whole thing is about not feeling very well inside, sometimes we feel uneasy due to problems in everyday life that tear us apart, but it's up to us to fix the source of problems and stop them, to be able to heal ourselves (in this case what a needle can make in a Dressing Room, repair clothes, torn ones) like a metaphor.

What do we make of our lives? it's up to us  :) I tried to well put these ideas together in this image.

Thanks for your precious visit and wish you a Happy New Year 2015!

Kindest regards, Laura.

Dear David, thank you very much for your positive comment towards this work and for your compliments as well, I'm glad you've liked it: especially the tones.

I've looked at your portfolio, I'm really impressed, it's full of great strength and what strikes me the most is that your subconscious comes out like a whirlwind ... I want to leaf through it and tell you more sensations.

I guess you're the one on your bio-pic, so... that strength from within outward, is clearly reflected in the metamorphosis of your self-portrait. That's incredible. I'll make another visit. I've liked your work very much.

Thank you very much for the comment, your visit and for all.

Kindest regards, ㋙
