Can't tell from your Exif data how far you were away.  But you couldn't have been too close!  :-)  The detail is all there.....great shot!  How do you like that SX50 camera?  Can you hand hold it at full zoom?  I'm looking at cameras for Norm who loves to take pictures but can't stand messing with all of the interchangeable lenses (can't say I blame him)!  :-)  I'm considering either the Canon SX50 or the Panasonic Lumix FZ200.  The Lumix 'only' goes to 600mm, but it has better low light capability, which is good for indoor shooting.
