A pleasant sunrise scene that is suitably evocative of the calm and stillness of morning. The colours are lovely, and the lone seagull makes the shot. I don't like the central Horizon in this shot though, not cause I'm a pedant, just don't feel it works for this photo. Too much empty space bottom of frame. You went the pano route with this crop, I wander if you went far enough? Thanks

Tommy thanks for the kind compliment. I barely caught the fog before it lifted.

Scott you make some good points. The water, shown not so well here, was so glassy it was reflective and drew my attention thus the horizon. The original picture was even more panoramic and I made a judgement to crop it to highlight what I felt where the best portions of the shot.

I think you have encapsulated that early morning atmosphere so very well with this image. Every element speaks with a hushed tone, a lovely tranquil scene.
