Hello

I like the models  expression and pose. I was wondering if you purposely discarded the detail of the background or was it a by product of exposing for the foreground? I looked thru your portfolio and noticed this quite a few times.  Just curious.

I exposed for the foreground. Im not huge on flash, even fill flash. I would rather shoot as natural as possible. Did I purposely think about the background, not really. However, I did purposely expose her face properly.

The exposure on the face is perfect. I love the muted pastel colours and the well intentioned and executed dating of this shot. Charming.
