Image was taken from the Easton PA. side of the Delaware. The

Lehigh river joins the Delaware just off to the right. Any and all

comments and ratings are always welcome. Thanks for looking.

Great scene Holger, I see there is still a lot of green here so I guess it wasn't taken in November. Like the clear cool foreground water, really adds to the landscape.   AJ

Thanks AJ, you're right this was taken near the end of September I believe and I could not get back there for a fall shot. Thanks again for look and write.

Holger, I wonder what you could get by getting at an angle of say 45 degrees to the right to give it a more diagonal look. You have a foreground, middle ground and a background. In this shot the foreground gets a lot of attention because there is so much water in it. Having the bridge up in the sky helps bring attention to it as the contrast behind it is more pronounced. Maybe even a lower angle would be even stronger. Just some ideas to spur your imagination.

Thanks Dave, for your comments and ideas. This is an area near where my sister lives, so I plan on returning and will keep your suggestions in mind. That's a helpful critique.

Hi Holger,

Wonderful scene with beautiful details.  When you go back try several angle's of this scene, it look's like a very interesting place to photograph.  Take care, Patsy

Holger - Nice oneI like the warm light that you had when you photographed it.  I was not there so not sure if my idea is possible.

For me the bridge is the main subject and now you have to care of the foreground. I would like to get the camera down to about 2 feet higher than those rocks at the bottom. Now that may not have been possible. Or you did not have water boots.   Or this is an area known for lions and crocodiles (*_*).

In any event, this is a fine image what you have here and no two photographers will ever capture the same scene exactly the same.

All the best and thanks for your recent visit.

While the suggestions are most helpful, I am glad that you shared this one  just the same. I imagine in the Winter it would make a beautiful shot, however I do not know how safe the shoreline would be. I hope you have a good visit with your sister next time you visit!!
