What a wonderful seasonal photo!  The red of the squirrel and the tones of the wood set against the white of the snow are beautiful.  I like that you got the white balance so well that the snow IS actually white and not blue.  The little bit of snow flakes area adds to the story.  Well seen!

I've seen a similar photo a few years back (from you I believe) along this line and I love that one just as much as this one. Very very well caught image of an animal in the  environment, those snow flakes add a lot to the image. TFS!

Only a little squirrel can make winter snow appear cozy.

Sheltering in a hollow log, plenty to eat, tail over head for added warmth and harmonizing colors against the stark white of snow.
