Craster Harbour

Extremely moody and almost eerie. The only issue I have is the "mast" on the boat definitely has that "copied into" the image look. Maybe darkening it some would give it a slightly more realistic look. I see this is in the digital alterations category but I think it would have great impact on the viewer with a little more natural appearance in that area. Otherwise, I absolutely love everything you've done with this shot. The soft colors and deep shadows really help make this a powerful shot. Congrats

What do you mean by "copied into"?

I kind of know what your getting at, but the boat was acyually there. lol.

I think you're right though - after alteration, it looks like the boat has been added to the image.

It's the halo that does it. It appears after you use the solerizing filter on Photoshop, which I used in order to get the sky the way it is.

It would probably take hours and a great deal of patience to make it go away...

Yes, the halo.  For some reason I was unable to come up with a descriptive way to put it :-)  The image IS fantastic and you did an extremely good  job with the post work.  Congrats again!
