Originally there were sheep on that bit of land to the right, but they beat a hasty retreat before I could get a shot : - )  However I did take a few shots without any land on the right. 

The mountainous regions of Scotland have a most interesting effect on the weather patterns, you can experience 4 seasons in one day, and whilst this particular Loch was calm, the one I went to photograph earlier in the morning had a wind ripple that just refused to cease the whole time I was there.

The time of day and the prevailing light is nearly always key to the success or failure of a given image, the equipment is secondary but quality counts too. 

Of course the best typewriter in the world or should I say "word processor" won't write a novel all by itself either  : - )

A time to gather stones together.

It's amazing how nature brings lines from the Bible to life.  It's equally amazing  how your work connects the human spirit with nature.  I see a distinct dynamic character to this photograph.  It's as if you captured everything in its own special kind of motion.

Days like this, where perseverance and determination take over, and in the end you are rewarded with a sight such as this....well, I don't know that it gets much better than this!! There is so much beauty to be seen, and it is so wonderful that you plan your vacation in a destination that may reveal such vistas. I love how the textures and colours of the rocks in the foreground tie in with the colours of the mountains and reflections. It is so satisfying to visit your images. Many thanks for being here on PN where I can enjoy such a treat!
