Strathconon Mist

A pink band of mist strung out like candyfloss and floating above a

concealed river in the glen below is illuminated by dawn's first kiss.

Even the sheep obligingly lined up to form yet another layer in this

lovely pastoral scene.

Wonderful landscape composition! The mist in the distance makes a sense of mystery and is a beautiful contrast to the brightness elsewhere in the photo. I rate it 7 and make it favorite :)

I very much like the squarer framing which affords balanced proportions to each of the horizontal elements in the image.

Understated colours are divine and a row of grazing sheep working their up the slope makes for the perfect subject setter.
